I'm so relieved to hear that she is honoring what she previously told us! The $150 day pass is what ERC typically charges for outside guests to be at ERC for the day. The $70 day pass is for the day of the wedding only for wedding guests staying at a different resort. For example, your guests staying at a different resort pay $70 to be at ERC for the day of the wedding, but if they want to spend the day with guests at ERC the next day, they'd have to pay $150. That's how I understood it at least.

Verónica also emailed me stating it would be $70 per person for my wedding guest, the day of the wedding.

I just received an email from Veronica stating we only need to pay the day pass for the photographer. Just to be on the safe side I'm going to bring the email chain with me as proof if they try to charge me $150 to have someone not work for me. That policy is ridiculous!

I hope this is true! Because the email from last week said otherwise. It is stupid! I hope she doesn't tell one person one thing and then someone else something else. And yes, she does forget what she has said before. :-(

I just got an email back from Veronica and this is what she said

You must only pay a day pass that if the photographer comes from the wedding time till the end of the event is $70 usd per person but if he comes 2 or 3 hours before the wedding time they should pay a different day pass.

Thatâ€s the only that they must pay.

Maybe the original poster who got $150 was because she wanted the photographer there all day?

$150 really isn't a big deal but it still just seems silly that if the photographer comes early a couple hours before the ceremony to photograph the bride getting ready, they have to pay the full day pass and not the wedding day pass? It's not like the photographer is there to use ERC's beach and eat their food.

Oh well, could be worse.

Congratulations, Lindsey! I'm so happy that you had an amazing wedding. Of course we want to hear all about it! The more details the better! Will you be writing a review in the wedding review forum?

1.How many guests did you have? Where was your ceremony and reception? Did you feel it was private enough? Did you have a welcome dinner?

2.Did you have the spa do your hair and make up?

3.What did you think of the decorations, bouquet/flowers, cake? How was the food?

4.How did the day before the wedding where you meet with Veronica to finalize details go? Was ERC flexible in making wedding arrangements that you wanted? I know this is one thing that makes me nervous... not having details like my bouquet and cake finalized until a day or so before my wedding!

Sorry for all the questions! :)

I had 26 guests. my ceremony was on the beach and it did not feel private... there were lots of people watching. the reception was on a patio area next to the lobby over looking the ocean, it was very private and looked beautiful.

i had a violinist for the ceremony and the mariachis for cocktail hour.

my welcome dinner was at agave, the mexican restaurant. we had our own room and veronica set all of that up. she even made little menus that said nic and lindseys welcome dinner... very cute.

the spa did my hair... but not my makeup... i loved my hair. i wore it down with curls. no veil

my bouquet was beautiful. small white iris's.

there are not decorations for the reeption, so i brought my own

the cake was delicious. so was the dinner. we had stuffed chicken.

the rest of the food at resort was gross.

veronica was great... i have no complaints about the day

if you want to email me i will send you some pictures that i have already from the resort photographer... they arent that great because we were looking at the photog that we paid for. also let me know if you have any other questions

my email is [email protected]
