I am freaking out about my dress!!

HM that's kind of weird. I freak out pretty easily so this would probably rattle me too. I feel like the tracking # goes into the system right away when the item is scanned in at the post office, it might not move around much or they might be slow updating it with the correct location of the item, but it should probably at least show up that its been received :S anyways don't freak. Try to continue contacting her, and hopefully it all sorts itself out. I'm really sorry you're going through this, I know its stressful

If it's USPS then it might not show up until it's delivered or maybe not at all. So if she shipped it USPS I would not freak out just yet. The post office doesn't update their system all the time like UPS and FedEx do. If it's a UPS tracking number then it should be updated right away and give you information along the way. It sounds like it's a USPS number though so don't worry about it and just keep checking your mailbox for your wonderful dress! Keep us posted on how everything goes but keep calm for now:)

I agree with the people who say to give it a few days before you freak. USPS is sometimes slow with getting the numbers up there.

 

Also, PayPal will get you your money back should your fiance be correct. I've had a problem before with buying something on ebay, and PayPal helped me resolve it.

I tried replying earlier, but it wouldn't let me! Anyways... I say don't worry about it yet! Give the tracking info some time to update. USPS sucks with that stuff!

I'll join the rest of the girls when I say "don't panic". Takee a deep breath! If she shipped it vis regular mail, it can take up to 10 working days to show up.

Oh.. I am so sorry that this is stressing you out; the last thing we brides need is something else to worry about!

 

I agree with everyone else though... first of all, USPS tracking numbers (in my experience) don't show up in a timely manner. Second, Paypal has good fraud protection; if you don't receive it by the end of the week and don't hear back from the seller with a good explanation then report it and you should be able to get your $$ back.

Did you pay with your credit card? If so, they'll dispute the charges for you. That's why I'm charging EVERYTHING with my credit card. But, like the others have said, I would give it time before freaking out. We ordered a flat screen TV through Amazon last week, and I've been trying to track it every day, and nothing is showing up yet, even though it was supposed to ship last week. Everything is slowed down because of the holidays.
