Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Mrsrice - Congratulations on your wedding!!  Thank you so much for sharing this information.  It was so incredibly helpful!!  Did you send Nicole a break down of your "wants" for the wedding and days surrounding the wedding before she actually sent you her wedding detail sheet?  I feel like I should give her a general timeline with places/wants/etc. sooner than later, but I also know that she gets so many emails that it would be more to ease my own mind than anything else.  Any suggestions?
Congrats

I'm running into the same issue, everyone is totally going until they actually have to book the trip!  I have my florist on standby for all my rentals, centerpieces etc because I don't know exactly what I will need.  Thankfully the contract is able to be changed even with our deposit made.   I think we'll end up with about 55 also.  I held onto our invitations because I wanted to send them out as a reminder to book and didn't want to do it to soon or over the Christmas holiday.  I'm hoping sending them out in the next couple of weeks will remind people to make their reservations. If you don't have at least 50+ people Calabash isn't an option, and the Mediterranean is way to small for a wedding over 30 people or so, I was in there.  So I don't know what I'd do if we weren't able to do it there! I'm not really stressed about it yet, I'm thinking (hoping) people will book with their tax returns!
ol I'm hoping the same thing!

Hi Krista,  we got married at the Beach resort in January and you have nothing at all to worry about! We picked the Beach because of the price being more reasonable to ask people to pay, and I am so glad we didn't pay the extra for the suites or grand.  We had a group of over 50 people and everyone loved the place. We had a suite room overlooking the beach and the ceremony location on the beach, it was great, but then again we are usually on the beach or at the pool, not in the room on vacation. there was one day that I noticed was a bit busier then the others and then at the end of the day heard an announcement for the cruise ship people to leave, but that was one day only, and still never felt like the resort was full.  The food was great, lots of loungers at the beach and pool, great service, etc. the wedding coordinator was Santena when we were there,  she was also wonderful to work with, and she didn't just ditch us after the ceremony, she was around almost the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. Overall, I wouldn't have changed anything at all! If you have any specific questions just let me know :)
This is great to know!

Hello Everyone!

I just got back from a weeks stay at the Grand, but got Married at the Suites. I can say that nothing worked out as planned (due to a horrible weather system) which was disappointing, but everything did work out. I have to give a shout out to Nicole and Tiffany for pulling it all together on the fly (literally) and making it go as smoothly as possible.

If anyone has any specific question I would be glad to try and answer.

Sorry to hear about the weather, but glad the WC's pulled through! :) Any lessons learned or things you wish you would've brought or done differently?

Congrats on your marriage! That's the most important part! ;)

I'm really sorry to hear that you had bad weather! I'm glad that the resort was able to help you still make your day work even if it wasn't how you originally imagined it. Are you planning on posting a full review?
