The video was good but I don't feel that they captured much of the talking from when we were getting ready. Supposedly my husband did something funny for me that he wanted on the video but instead they got it as video and put music over it so you can't hear what he's saying. My father also composes music, which I used for the processional and recessional and I was hoping to hear it as I walked up and down the aisle but I forgot to mention it to Marcia Roberts so she used clips of us in the edited video with other music so you can't hear his music on the video.

Yeah, I guess it's hard to tell them what you want when you don't really know what's going on with the video.  We really wanted to capture the sound of the steel pans band as I walked down the isle and after the ceremony, but I'm not sure if she will use that, or just put other music over it.  I hope there's sound for the vows at least.  My package is now en route to me, so it's too late to change anything now.

I've already decided I'm going to have to start planning my next vacation in order to get out of this funk! :P It was beautiful, amazing, and went WAY too fast! I'm hoping to get my pro pics before I post my review, but I'll add my pics and bits and pieces of info as I think of it.

Here's my table at Aunt Ruby's (Suites): (17 people, non-private, three large cylinder vases, four small square vases, about 12 large votive candles, 20 small votives, no chargers) They put the Christmas lights up right before our reception and they were perfect!!

Hi LissMiss,

You probably can have it shipped beforehand if it's not too far in advance, best to check with the resort directly. The only thing I would caution is shipping to another country might take longer and the risk of it getting lost might be higher. You can chose a guaranteed shipping option with a tracking number but then you're paying quite a bit more for shipping. It's tough, I have a few boxes of items I'm bringing down with me for the OOT bags and for decorations and I wouldn't want to lose any of them! But I think it would be more cost effective to pay for an additional bag or two luggage wise for the one way because once I hand out all the OOT bags at the resort it will significantly decrease my luggage!

I am finally back from my wonderful wedding at iberostar..I had the time of my life my photographers from new york did an amazing job...i do not think i could have chosen a better venue. The hotel is absolutely amazing even though we had the reception and after party off site everything worked out great. Tai flora did good with my flowers and Rashel Edwards did an amazing job with my makeup I have never felt so beautiful and it lasted allllllllll night. i cannot wait to post my official review with pics etc.

I got my pics from Marcia Roberts last week.  It's tough to choose my favourites, but I wanted to share a few.  For what it's worth, Marcia didn't actually take the pics, her assistant did.  She was there the whole time, but wasn't really photographing for some reason.  Make-up by Rashel Edwards, and hair by her assistant.  Flowers by Tai Flora (upgraded bouquet).

Please don't quote this post, or if you quote it then delete the pics - I would hate to spam this thread with my pics over and over, as fabulous as they may be :)
