The beach party was definitely on a Saturday night in November while I was there.  We had our rehearsal dinner on Saturday night at 8:30 so we missed the whole thing.  It looked pretty awesome though!  ...at least my photographer go to go

Looks awesome!! I'm thinking it might be fun to have one as a welcome party! Was that on saturday at the beach or suites?

Yup... which is unfortunate... we are getting married on a thursday, and we wanted soo badly to have our dance and what not, on the beach with a dj and a bonfire... but we cant because of the beach party being n the same night..  The wedding coordinator said to keep our fingers crossed because closer to the wedding they may change the night of the beach party.. so we have been hopin!!! but so far it has not yet changed..

Hey Luvmoo, my wedding is on a Thursday as well and I emailed Silvia telling her that I wanted a bon fire with a DJ after my wedding dinner. I asked her if we could get a DJ but she hasn't responded to my question. Maybe they plan to change the date of the beach party.  Who knows, either way I haven't heard anything from the WC.  I went ahead and booked DJ Kevan.

Don't worry, I told Sylvia I wanted the steel band for the ceremony and DJ for the reception, and she just confirmed yesterday! And we leave on Saturday!! I know it will all turn out perfect in the end, but I like to know when everything is happening and that it's all planned ou. I still don't know what time I'm getting my hair/makeup done!

Hmmm well please let me know what she responds!! she told me mine was a no go.. that we could have the open bar, the bonfire.. but no dj.. as the beach party has a dj on the beach and they can't have two going at once.. Please let me know if she says yours is a go.. cause if yours is not an issue i will definatly be bringing that up with her again!!! *fingers crossed*

Hey Marlena, thanks for the info, I'm such a control freak and I'm anxious to confirm all details, but I guess I should just go with the flow.
