Hi Kimberli!! So exciting! We are going to change our reservations to stay at the Suites until our wedding then move to the Grand afterward and stay a few more days. I need to really focus and get everything in order because I have been major slacking. For a destination, care-free wedding I sure feel like I have one million things to do, lol.

Hi leslioni,

 

Great question.  It was on my mind too!  I'm getting married at the Beach 07/22/12 and I asked the W/C Silvia about the huppa since I strongly prefer it over the arch.  She said the Beach resort has a huppa. 

However, I have no clue about its dimensions. It might be more affordable to bring the fabric from home.  I'm assuming Tia Floral will be the recommended vendor for its decor and it might be ridiculously priced.  Maybe Silvia would know.  Give her a call. She's really helpful.

We hired Kevan Stewart from JA Weddings. Many brides raved about him on hear and so we decided to hire him. He's great with email responses and can work with you.

I have a total of 9 women getting their hair and make up done the day of the wedding. I'm hoping to get upgraded to the presidential suite so we their will be enough room for all of us...if I don't get upgraded I will have to fork over the money since it's very important to me.

She was thrilled with him, however didn't mention his name so it could very well have been the same DJ that some ppl thought was terrible. It's all subjective I guess. I also read another review that stated the DJ played weird music, didn't play the song/cd's they brought with them for him to play, and played the same song twice in a row more than once. It seems to be a bit of a gamble either way. I'm going to chance the resort DJ and bring music with me just in case.
