Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

I have a question about the arch/huppa. Do we have the option of either, I feel like I have seen pictures of an arch as well as a huppa? If so is there a cost for one or the other?

 Thanks!

The huppa pics are mainly on the beach and I believe its an arch @ the other locations.  You may be able to move the arch to the beach but I am not sure about moving the huppa elsewhere.  Your best best is probably to check with the resort.

The Beach has a beach party on Thursday night. It was a ton of fun. There is also a beach bbq on Saturday. The Suites has a beach party too. I can't remember what night though. There was no one there so we didn't go! Their beach bbq is Monday.

Dont worry, I have my review written and I am only waiting to get pics to post along with it.  I have not forgotten you ladies.  I should have some better pics this week/ early next week at the latest.

Just know that you have NOTHING to worry about.  Everything worked out so well, it was like a dream.  I am actually still dreaming of being there each day!  The transisiton back to work and away from Jamaica life has been rough.msncry.gif

Hi ladies! If you and your party stay at the beach property, can you go to the suites and use their facilities (restaurants, pools, beach, etc...)?? I'm starting to get some quotes back for the suites and the prices seem really high so we may need to move it to the beach.

Hello Susan1672,

This is part of a review from one of the Beach brides. Hope this helps!

Day Trip: A+

We organized a tour with Dream Catamarans to take our group out for a half day. We didn't book in advance and we planned the trip with our ACV rep at the hotel. We were able to negotiate a 10% discount for our half day trip and it came to $60/person. The boat was fantastic and takes you out to a croal reef for snorkelling then to Jimmy Buffet's Margariteville to swim and go on the slide/trampolines in the water. The boat was open bar as well which was awesome! We had an amazing time and I would HIGHLY recommend this day trip!

If not, does anyone know if you can book it through the hotel and what the charge is per person? I'm thinking of offering this as an excursion for my guests and do a sunset/booze cruise to margaritaville or snorkeling.

Thanks!

Seems like you can't go onto the Suites if you stay at the Beach from what everyone says. Unless you pay for a day pass. Not sure how strict they are with guests just walking through or hanging in the rooms or using the pool area. Do they really look at your wristbands that closely? CAN any past brides CHIME in on this?

Just in case you were wondering to get an idea...my travel agent was able to get room rates for about $155/person/night for Aug 2011. Getting 2 or 3 or 4 people in one room doesn't make a difference in pricing.
