Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

Did anyone rent hurricane/tiered vases as their centerpieces through a florist? If so how much did you pay/were quoted per table? I rec'd a quote today that I think is ridiculous considering I know people have paid waaaaaay less. All inputs appreciated!!

Thanks for that...it helps when you hear good things from people who have been there to visit.

Happy Planning:)

Thought I share....

Since I read from some reviews that the Suites Spa didn't do such a fabulous job with their mani/pedi (plus it was kinda pricey) I thought I would just do it at home since they have this new gel coating to make nails last at least two weeks.  Never tried it but thought I would give it a try since all these sites like Lifebooker and Dealist are offering deals.

Has anyone tried it???

I have tried the gel coat. Unfortunately it did not last 2 weeks for me. It definately is better than a regular french manicure, because it lasts beyond a day;however, it began to chip after day 3. I think there are variable factors involved. How strong your nails are, the technique the shop uses, UV light, etc. I would do a trial before hand if I were you.

For my centerpieces we did 3 tiered vases (3 different heights) with flowers and floating candle for $75 each set - with 5 tables (remember they seat 4-8 people depending where u have your reception) - it really wasnt that expensive and I used Tai Flora. Refer to my planning thread or review for pictures!

Thanks for your reply Jules. Your price is definitely better than what I was quoted - $100 each set by another company, considering I too want 3 tiered vases with various heights. I wish Tai Flora would quit taking forever and a day to reply! So ridiculous considering that my wedding is almost 90 days away now.

OK ladies I am getting closer to my magic 150 post for downloading templates...but until then, did any past brides use a checklist.  The ones I am finding on the internet do not fit for a destination wedding.  I have a lot of major stuff planned or reserved, but I feel like I am missing something.
