Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

I had my wedding at the Beach hotel but stayed at the Suites and if I had to do it again I would definitely do it that way again. My guests could stay at any of the three hotels without having to pay to attend any events we had (welcome dinner, wedding, etc). And personally, I didn't really think the food was any better at the Suites but they do have lobster.

Thanks for posting the map. I've been trying to get a copy of this. In case anyone is interested, please PM me if you want info on prices for the Bonfire at the Beach, BBQ Reception on the beach or full price list for the spa. I was able to get them all sent to me. I also have the kids menu as well.

I got married at the Iberostar Rosehall Beach on May 10th.  You can find some pics taken by my family and friends with the link below.  Unfortunately I did not take any pics during the wedding so I'm still waiting for someone to send me pics from our reception at Uncle Tony's.  The wedding was amazing, I could not have asked for anything more.  the staff at the Iberostar Beach resort are wonderful and are eager and willing to accommodate any request.

I used all of the vendors from the resort (digipix for videographer, suites spa for hair and makeup,  tai flora for the flowers, resort dj, resort steel band).  The only outside vendor I used was Misha Earle, she was amazing to work with.  Her pics will be ready next month, you can visit her website at

for our wedding we did ceremony at 4pm, cocktail party from 5-7, dinner at uncle tony's from 7-10:30 and after party at mango walk.

I will try to post my review sometime this week.

For now I will say anyone getting married at the beach has nothing to worry about.  The staff are amazing and really want you to relax and enjoy your stay at the hotel.

the bride can choose to stay at any of the three properties, however, if you're a Beach guest and wish to have your wedding at the Suites or the Grande, you're not allowed...but, if you're a Suites guest, you can have your wedding at the Suites or the Beach and if you're a Grande guest then you can have your wedding at any of the three properties, basically, as a Grande guest you have access to all three hotels....when you're a Suites guest, you can visit the Beach but not the Grande and when you're a Beach guest, you're not "allowed" to eat, drink or lounge at any of the other hotels, however, they will allow Beach guests to visit the Suites for the disco and the spa...which is the same spa and disco that Grande guests have access to, as well.  of course, ALL guests have access to the same stretch of beach....so you can sneak a peak at the other properties by simply walking the shoreline.

my thought was, my guests are paying to come to jamaica to witness my wedding and share in our festivities...so, i chose the Beach property because i didn't want to have to even THINK about them spending ANYMORE money than the price of their travel package..which, is only costing us about $900/pp, some $700 and others even $660...i have guests traveling from TX, MD, VA, IN and even FL.  i've asked my guests to travel from 10/6-10/11 and to purchase travel insurance since that's during the atlantic hurricane season.

and just so ya'll know, the wedding packages aren't that different AND the hotels aren't that different either.  i visited last year and was very impressed with the Suites as well as the Beach property...because both properties allow kids, i didn't really notice any real 'differences' and frankly, that was another reason i chose the Beach property...also, the 'feel' of the Beach property is very 'young, hip and fun' which i believe my guests will enjoy.  now, my fiance and i are staying at the Grande this time around, only because i MUST experience the butler service and figured it would be cool to do so for our wedding plus, we can sneak away for alone time and not have to 'worry' about bumping into any of our guests.  we'll honeymoon at the Grande as well...and i can't wait!

btw, some of the restaurants that Suite guests reserve are actually located in the Beach property, ie, the Japanese restaurant and the Cajun one...so just something else for everyone to think about.

happy planning, all!!!  R~

I would also try Marcia Roberts. I am using her for my July 1, 2012 wedding at Iberostar. She includes the a video cd as well as trash the dress for day 2.

You should really contact her as well : [email protected] and here is here site: www.jamaicanphotography.com.

There are a few brides on here that have used here. Once you go to her site you will see the iberostar brides as well. You can tell her I referred you over to her.

Good Luck!
