Hello, I am new

Hello. I have been engaged for a while but I am just starting to research my DW options. My fiance and I have decided to get married in Positano, Italy in May 2010. Yes, I know, it seems far away but it will be here before I know it. The date is set far off because I am starting grad school in January and want to get a good start before getting married. Also, this is going to be quite expensive, we need to save.

Anyway, any and all advice regarding getting married in Europe, specifically Italy, is more than welcome.

cheers,

Robin

Wow, Italy... I'm jealous! What a fantastic location!! How long have you been planning for? What have you decided on so far (besides the location)?

There are a ton of us who had long engagements/planned our weddings for longer than usual. My DH and I were engaged for nearly 2 years before we got married, but trust me, it really does go by so quickly. Everyone says it and it's true!!

OMG!!!

You will have a beautiful wedding!!!

My fathers family is from Salerno which is more south along the coast and two summers ago DH and I visited Positano and fell in LOVE with it. We stayed in Sorrento and spent a day walking the streets and enjoying the beach of Positano. Much more beautiful than Capri in my opinion.

Have you decided on anything specific yet?

Good luck planning and I am sure it will turn out great!
