Is it safe to wear my engagement ring down to Cabo?

We are leaving for Cabo tomorrow and I'm getting mixed yes' and no's on whether or not to bring my engagement ring down to Cabo. We are taking a flight from Tijuana so we will have to cross the border by foot there (which concerns me more than Cabo).

 

Anyway, is it safe to wear my engagement ring down there or should I leave it at home? I never take it off but I'm still a bit nervous...

I always felt very safe in Cabo. More safe than in my own neighborhood to be honest Have fun!

I would guess you are pretty safe, as long as you keep it on. My friend's fake diamond earrings were swiped right off her night stand in Cabo. Just leave it on your finger and you should not have problem.

UPDATE: I'm in Cabo now and I did not take my engagement ring due to the concern of my mom mostly - anyway, I would have been absolutely fine taking the ring, I have not felt unsafe one bit - even in the Tijuana airport.
