edit the start and stop times of songs using itunes. i read that this can be done in a post, but i do not know how.

Open itunes

 

click on the song

Go to File--- Get Info (or you can right click on the song and Get Info is the first option)

Go to Options

in that tab you will see start and stop times. you can change it there. i would only cut the dead air at the end of the song using this option because it will not fade out the song it will abruptly cut the song of at the time you choose and it may sound weird.

 

also select the option to make the song part of a gapless album.
