Couples Swept Away Wedding 9/19/09

Recommended Posts

Hi! Thanks for your reply and all of the info you provided on here! It is so helpful but I still have about a million questions :)

First of all I have been searching for the perfect invitation to our reception when we return and yours are exactly what I was looking for! Did you have those made by someone or do it yourself? The way it is worded is just perfect!

The pictures of the wedding itself (gorgeous by the way :) I had some questions about also. Did they provide the chairs for you or did you have to pay for them to put the chairs out there? It looked so pretty with the matching blue on the chairs.. I wondered if you brought a lot of the little touches with you? And is their only one beach location or can you choose anywhere on the beach?

Ok I have more questions but I dont want to bombard you so this is a good start :)

Thanks again!

You can get married anywhere on the beach. The arch thing is very centrally located so I assume that is why they do most of th ebeach ceremonies there. The only thing nearby are palm trees, so it is relatively quite.

They provided and set up the chairs. I did bring down my own sashed that they put on at no extra cost. I think you can arrange to rent them through the hotel but I'm thinking it's like $6 per chair.

My invites were made by our very own Sarah Sproullie Designs | Custom Photobooks, Invitations and more!

She rocks!

The great thing about Couples is that there is as much or little to do as you want.

We chose the lazy route, LOL. We only did the free activites/watersports with the exception of the $10 shopping tour one afternoon. The Aura Lounge is also lots of fun and we met a lovely English couple there.

Somewhere in my blog or planning thread I made a CSA packet to give to all of the guests that lists the paid tours and the pricing. I'm guessing it won't change too much.

Hi Megan! we just had our CSA wedding on December 5th,2008. It was our first time there and my 1st time in Jamaica! We loved it so much, we are booking our return trip already. I just posted my review of the wedding today as well as a separate review of CSA. PM me with any questions.

Good luck with your planning ladies and let us know invites you pick!
