TTD session at Tulum?

I've been thinking about how I'd like to do our TTD session, and thought it might be a neat idea to go with our photog to Tulum, get some shots with the ruins and then go down to the beach below...the beach is supposed to be spectacular there.

 

Has anyone done this, know of anyone who has, or knows anything about it, like the logistics, etc? Any insight would be great! Thanks in advance!

 

I'd also love to hear if anyone has any brilliant ideas for locations for photos in the Mayan...

you aren't allowed to take wedding pictures at the ruins. You can take other professional pictures, you just can't be wearing a wedding dress. I know, I got kicked out (read about it in my review, linked in my signature. It's at the end of the review). Same also happened to another recent couple, the thread is somewhere in the mayan rivera forum, it's called TTD photos ruined or something like that

Well isn't that a bummer! Thanks for the info...I really appreciate the heads-up. Maybe I'll email the hotel and ask them why they don't allow it, and see if they have any suggestions for locations. thanks again and I'll vote for your photo in the morning!

I was thinking of doing some pictures in a town - sitting in the street, climbing up fire escapes, stuff like that. The colors in those pictures are always incredible with the editing, and I just love them!!!

I'mthinking a site visit might be a good idea! Get down there and scout out some locations!
