Sand Ceremony

Just wondering where people have bought the sand and glass containers required for the sand ceremony? Suggestions?

Hi There,

 

YOu can purchase sand from any Arts and Craft Store. Not sure if you have Michaels in CDN, but that is where I got mine from. Good luck.

Has anyone done a sand ceremony and included kids?

Hi,

 

I just read online of family sand ceremony's. Google it to find descriptions of different ways of doing it. With a family, instead of 2 small glass containers for the bride and groom, there are a multiple containers for all family members to each pour into the larger container.

 

I thought maybe Michaels. I will definately look there. Thanks for the suggestion Yours Truly.

I got my sand and glass bottles at Michaels also. I had printed a sand ceremony reading from online but the wedding coordinator said the JOP would have one, he did and it was perfect. Maybe contact your WC to see if they have a family one or if you need to bring your won.

Its engravable and comes with a glass stopper for easy transportation home!
