Thank you so much for the detailed review. We are seriously considering Riu for our 2010 wedding. Did you have much opportunity to look at the other wedding locations in the Riu resorts? The pictures are so beautiful!

I did get a chance to go to the palace (which is right next door the the palaceriviera maya and to tequila and lupita)

The palace riviera maya is by far the best one in Playa del carmen.
