We decided on Dreams Tulum because we do have children coming to the wedding. We wanted a resort that allowed children while still having having a romantic, quiet vibe for adults. We narrowed it down to DT and Aventura Spa Palace (they will be allowing children in summer 09) but we wanted to get married on the beach and Aventura doesn't allow that.
