Stretch marks

You could try Strivectin too - it's expensive, but I've heard it does diminish their appearance. A lot of people use it for lines around the eyes as well. They sell it online at Drugstore.com and I just saw it at Macy's.

Thank you ladies for all of your help!! I think I am just going to hide the little suckers for the day with the dermablend concelear cream. I am so paranoid and shallow about how the wedding pictures will turn out and I dread having those marks be prominent on my arms since it is the focus of the dress. But the derma blend will cover everything just fine. I can also use another type of dermablend with foundation for those darn dark circles that won't go away from under my eyes from 2 years of hell (oops , I mean grad school ) :)

I just got the WW mag and it has info on this.

If you have...

- Red/purple marks (new, had them under 6 months)

Try: Topical Retin-a, Microdermabrasion, Versa Pule IPL

If you have...

- White/silver marks

Try: Peptide Celluite creams like StretchEase, Resurfacing lasers

Sorry to say, but there is no easy way to get rid of stretch marks. Those creams are pretty much a marketing scam, and vitamin E cream will help lighten dark stretch marks, but once they become white it wont do anything anymore. The best option is to get laser resurfacing. I think you can get it done at a dermatologist. It is very exspensive though and they don't guarantee 100% results. Sorry that probablly wasn't what you wanted to hear, but I feel for ya! I have a belly covered in stretch marks since having my son, and I'm not to thrilled about having to show them when we go away to get married!
