Stretch marks

Is there any type of makeup that could cover stretchmarks? I have a bunch on my arms and they kind of stand out. I have been using the Avon anti stretch mark cream, but have not had results yet and I only have 5 weeks until the weeding. Anybody have the same problem?

Do you have a dermatologist? If so, you could call and ask them. I've heard of techniques that help minimize the chance of getting them, but I don't know what would work once you have them. I'm curious too because the allergic reaction I had a couple weeks ago caused my skin to swell in some odd areas (like the inside of my forearm) and now that the swelling is gone, there are stretch marks there... (like I didn't have enough of them already from being fat and having a kid! Sheez!!!)

Yes, I am so anti water and it has come back to haunt me in every area of my life including digestion. Even with my wedding being 5 weeks away ,I am still binging (sp?) on soda when I promised that I would only drink water so my face would be clear for the wedding. I think I have a mental block or something. Don't even get me started on the whole needing to work out or dieting issue. :)

Honestly I don't think there is anything that gets rid of them short of getting some sort of new surgery that supposedly lasers them away. But I do know that Vitamin E diminishes their appearance. Also, usually if you tan it will make your skin look smoother and can reduce the appearance of stretchmarks.
