I used Samuel Luna and he did a great job! I posted a review but it never ended up on here for some reason inbox me if you would like me to send you some pictures, a have a few teasers I can share.

I would love to see pics from Samuel Luna.  Our wedding is April 2016.  Trying to decide if we want to use outside photographer/videographer or the one(s) on site at OC&T.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

I ended up doing a sparkler send off at the end of the reception...found a place after months of research that was cheaper than the resort and they delivered them right to me in the lobby. not sure about sky lanterns I didn't see them once while I was there.

@@jill16 Can you let me know where you ended up getting your sparklers?  And how long they were?  I too am committed to having this for our wedding in April :-)  THANKS SO MUCH!!

Hi...i tried to reply by email not sure if u got it?

Here is the company email with the sparklers....they were hard to light all at once but we did our best...it would be good if u had it organized. Not sure how long they were but i paid $2 / sparkler.

Thanks SO MUCH @@jill16!!  Super helpful!  I promise to pay-it-forward to other Brides :-)

Hey OCT Brides!

I'm looking for info on Childcare at the hotel.  We have a lot of guests bringing their awesome little ones... (4 under 8 months old!!).  Would love to hear from you if the hotel allows outside nannies to come in?  Or are they staffed to handle a large quantity of toddlers & infants at one time?  What are their fees to do so? Any thoughts on this would be Most Helpful & Appreciated :-)

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the site! We are having our wedding at OCT on Nov 8 2016, soooo excited!! I'm finding this forum really helpful for answering some of the questions I've been having, and our WC Cynthia has also been good about responding to emails.

We are set to have our ceremony on the rooftop terrace and our reception and  dinner on the larger rooftop terrace.

We are having my FI's  90 year old grandparents with us as guests, and so am just wondering about the reliability of the elevators at the resort???

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum! Getting married at OCT on Nov 8, 2016! We are sooooo excited!

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with bringing a photographer with them (from Canada or US).... did they give you a hard time at the border?

Any tips/advice would be appreciated! :)

@caitlinneilson  If you're talking about a professional photographer, getting into Mexico to "work" is like getting into any other country for work. You're definitely taking a risk, especially if the person travels with a lot of equipment. A work visa is required and if Mexican customs realizes it's someone coming in to work, they could be denied entry, just like anywhere else. Having said that I know there have been people that have done it and been ok. If it's someone staying as a guest for the week with you I would treat them like a guest, not as a professional photographer coming into the country to photograph your wedding.
