They're basically a collection of images in a color scheme/s that help you focus or give you some inspiration in your planning. I think they help if you're trying to get ideas about what colors go together, what you like (flowers,decorations, jewelry, etc), and are probably really helpful if you're using a wedding planner. Fun to look at (& make) but you really don't have to have one to plan a wedding.

Anyway, this site (the perfect palette) does a bunch in every color.
