1. Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
2. All My Life by Kci and Jojo

I also saved $1000 by using Ipod playlists in lieu of DJ. I had 12 songs for the cocktail hour. 3 for the first dance and toasts and 20 songs for dinner and the rest of the reception.
So when you had music playing at cocktail hour, was this a private bar? or werre u allowed to play it at the bar??

My cocktail hour and reception were both situated on the outside patio deck of the Five Palms Restaurant. I coordinated a small sound system with microphone and Ipod hook-up through my WP. The system was set-up in the far corner of the "dancing area" on the patio. The cocktail hour consisted of hand-passed appetizers. Most of the guests found their seats during that time. This was followed by the wedding party announcement, then the first dance and the toasts. There was music playing from the bar area, but my wedding party couldn't hear it from the patio.

Hey Ladies

Just wondering if anyone knows if they use a PA systems or a simple cd player for the music. My brother is a musician and I was hoping he could play for our ceremony but there is no way to (cheaply) travel with a PA. If he could hook up to a system they already have there that would be perfect.

Thanks for you help

They provide a CD player for music. If you need something like a PA or speakers you should ask the WC for more info. Depending on where you're having your ceremony I'd like to think the music would be heard without some sort of sound system.
But then I guess that depends on how many guests you're having & the type of instrument your brother plays. Definitely run this by the WC.

I had 3 songs that actually got played. One for the wedding party walking down, one for the sand ceremony and one for the presenting of the marriage certificate. They replayed my sand ceremony song over and over while we were signing the marriage certificate and everything. I had lots more songs but that was fine. It was where we were and what we were doing that was important!
