Westin Resort

Hi Everyone

 

I have been looking at resorts and I really like the look of Westin Resort for our beach wedding and it looks in our price range and I am thinking of going with Baja Weddings for the wedding planning. Has anyone got any feedback/experience about this place? or any other suggestions that are in that sort of price range for room rates.

Hi Jess - I also considered the Westin, but chose to have my wedding at the Hilton. I haven't been to either, just based upon my research on tripadvisor, etc., I went with the Hilton. I think room rates are fairly comparable. I don't think you can go wrong with the Westin either though.

Westin is a very good option, even though it's not an AI resort but, for what I've read on other posts, they're great. Baja Wedding is a great option too, a bit expensive, but they're one of the best WC agencies around; althought, there are other places that are excellent at what they do and have more friendly price range, without sacrificing quality, service or vendors.

hi jess! i got married at the westin in august. it was wonderful & we really loved it. all our guests loved it as well. we stayed an extra week for our honeymoon & i am already wanting to go back for an anniversary trip. feel free to ask me any questions!

you've probably gotten more info re the westin by now, but just in case you still need feedback...we considered the westin for our wedding. while the hotel and facilities were not perfect for us, we LOVED the onsite WC (Karina) so much that we kept the westin in consideration way longer than we otherwise would have. she was so accommodating and professional. she was super responsive (got responses within hours). i was planned a trip to cabo for site visits to several hotels and added the westin last minute. not only did she throw together a tasting for me, set up a sample table for me in the color/design we wanted, but she changed her plans on her day off to come in so she could personally give us the tour. she was so good that i've been meaning to write westin about her. if she handles your wedding, you'll be in good hands.
