Yeah, I found out I wasn't eating enough calories sometimes too... and this would put my body into "don't burn anything" mode but then I would get hungry and eat a little too much and then it was all a mess. It's much harder for me to eat regular controlled meals that totals my daily calories than eat one big meal for the entire day that is less than my daily calories, but the former is a way better weight loss strategy.

So, I found out I have some tendinitis and junk. I'm currently on hold to try to find out how much I'm going to have to pay out of pocket for PT.

I use the Daily Plate at Livestrong.com to count calories. Once I started doing that then I started dropping a little bit of weight again. I don't have a lot left to lose (6 or 7lbs), so its really hard - but I really want to lose it!!

Kelly - I have a hard time with the protein too. I started using the Special K Protein Water powders. I just dump it in my water and get and extra 5g of protein.

LeAnne, such a bummer about your ankle.

a little of both? i wasn't going to look, but then i did, and it was before you corrected your mistake and i was nearer to the top of the list than the bottom, which was good, and i found it rewarding in a congratulatory kinda way ... then you fixed your error and i moved down a bit ... ugh ...

really it didn't hurt nor motivate. this is my third time doing biggest loser with you, and i've never been "winning" by any means. the way i see it is the time will pass by regardless, and by the day of my wedding, i'll either be the same as i was (or fatter!), or i will have made some difference (no matter how small) in my health and appearance. i am proud to say i've done the latter, and happy to contribute in motivating others with my fifteen bucks, LOL.

ooh i wanted to add that i am excited for weigh-in this week because i actually lost a few pounds, LOL!

and i finally got back to curves today (hadn't been there in over a week), and found some motivation there too. there's a little bulletin board on the wall where the owner cut out shamrocks with a person's name and weight loss on it, and posted them up under categories ... well there are shamrocks up under 5 lbs lost, 10 lbs, and a few (including mine) are under the big #20, but NO ONE has a shamrock posted under 30 lbs lost ... yet!

when i was leaving, i told carol she'd be moving my shamrock there before the end of the month, and i meant it! so that's my mini-goal for march.

I think the first version really motivated me, but the updated version was slightly discouraging, but still good to know. I'm hoping I can watch my food enough to not gain weight in the next few weeks. Even if I don't win, I still want to continue doing well.

Anyone have any good and fun ideas for exercises to do without moving my ankle? All the exercises I had been doing before (like Turbo Jam or Cardio Dance) were fun, so it was easier to push myself to do it. I haven't found anything yet I really like that doesn't hurt my ankle.
