I see that you are in Vancouver too. I could also mail the whole package to you so then you have the exact package from the WC herself. I've emailed as well so let me know if that works for you.

We are booked in with the Grand Palladium Rivieria and our wedding date is Nov 19,2009. All our invitations have gone out now and it is just up to our guest to put the deposits down. The hardest part was trying to go through all the resorts and get a good price for our guests.

I can not get over how many weddings are taking place this November.

Have you found a photographer yet? I am looking into that now.
Hey Bridenov2009,

I am also getting married in november-november 27th. Would you be interested in sharing the flight/accomodoation cost to bring a photographer down for the week. We can split the week between both of us.

If you are interested or if anyone is interested , email me at [email protected]

Hello everyone - I have a similar concern. Considering GRP for my wedding fall of 2009. My main reason for wanting a DW is to save some money versus a local wedding. I would like something private but don't want to pay $80 pp for a beach party. That rate is very similar to weddings in Toronto.

Anyone have any feedback on this? Seems like having a DW isn't as "budget-friendly" as I thought.

Any comments appreciated!

You can do your dinner at one of the al a carte restaurants. From what I understand it's not private but they do put everyone together in your own little section. This option is included in the wedding package for up to 20 people. It's $10 extra for each person over 20 people.

I decided on the al a carte resturante idea. It was the cheapest way to go. The other option they gave me was a gala reception. I believe this would be in a private room. The prices were reasonable. The meals were about $19 to $22 per person. I have the menu if you want me to e-mail it to you

I am trying to pick an a la carte resturante for the reception. I have narrowed it down to Mamma Mia, becuase everyone likes pasta, Le Flur, seem exotic, and La Vaqueria. Has anyone ate at these resturantes? If so, which one is the best? Remember, we need something that will suite everyones needs.
