Hi Ladies,

I am getting married there in 3 months and I am so lost....so far we haven't really picked anything out except our wedding package. What type of things should I have done now or in the very near future?

 

We are planning to be married on the beach and so far 55 people are booked including ourselves. What is everyone else planning for thier recpetion? Does anyone else have/had a large group...if so what was/is your options you were given. My TA who deals directly with the WC at the resort has been....ummm....swamped as her partner has folded so now its all on her so.....my turn around time for questions is not very fast!!! So any suggestions, help etc I would greatly appreicate!!!

HI!

We were married at GRP November 10th. We had 66 people, so I think we may be in a similar situation. Once your party is over 40 people, you must have the beach party, which by the way was absolutley amazing and worth every penny! I directly dealt with Sandra (the wedding coordinator) and found it much easier than dealing through a travel agent. I am unsure if you will be able to anything as a dinner reception with more than 40 people. May want to contact the WC yourself. They are very easy to deal with....

We are getting married at the Grand Sunset Princess on April 23, 2010. We haven't sent anything really to our wedding coordinator yet. I'm planning on sending the form in this week or early next week. You can make amendments to it as well once it is sent in. We have chosen the Royal Package and the Beach Reception as we have 70+ guests attending.

I was in contact with the wedding coordinator last month and she said that we still had time to send in our form and haven't heard anything from her since...so I think you are probably in good shape. I would suggest dealing with the wedding coordinator directly. They're pretty good at getting back to you.

Did you get the pictures of the bouquets and stuff to choose from?

I was wondering if anyone has heard of having a reception at this resort in a "semi private" area with a set menu for $45 per person?
