Check out Paradisus. They are kid friendly and have a kids club, but also offer Royal Service which is adults only and has an adults only pool if you want to get away. Paradisus Riviera Cancun All Inclusive Resorts |In Cancun, Mexico

 

Oh, and it is about 20 minutes from the airport in Riviera Maya. So, close enough to Cancun if you wanted to go shopping, but far enough away that its not party central.
