HELP for BD (Boudoir) Pics

Hello Everyone:

 

I have decided that I'm going to go for some boudoir photos. What i'm unsure of is how is everyone else setting up the presentation for them: Are you doing little mini pocket sized photo books with quotes and scrapbooking stuff?

 

or are you doing a large sized photo album?

 

Purely a scrapbook?

 

A collage of the photos?

 

An online album only?

 

I'd love any input that you might have on presentation because I don't know what to do with the photos once I have them.

 

Also, did any of you do a variety of photos? For instance, did you do some artistic nudes, black and white, color, "naughty", traditional boudoir photos, etc or did you stick with one "style"?

 

Also, any tips/advice for a first timer?

The photographer I used had different packages to choose from. The one I chose has a 10x10 "diva" book (photobook), a 4x6 brag book, and a few prints as well.

 

I think it all depends on how you want to give the gift to your FH. Good luck

You look amazing! You and your photographer both did a great job! my photog has a friend that makes little pocket sized books. I want something bigger than that and when it comes down to do it I've done scrapbooking before and can make the same books as the tiny ones. Let me know how you like your album when you get it. I'm interested to know if they'll make it "magazine" style and have words and colors, etc. or if it'll be a plain photo album.

I'm going to do a 8x10 leather album I think. My style? Well since I'm not a size 2! I'm going to do a few in his Chelsea soccer jersey, some with a satin sheet and prolly a long satin red nighty.

 

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I'm deff using the soccer jersey! He's gonna flip with that one!

So the bd photos are a gift? I learn so much on this site... lol not trying to hyjack the thread, but did you tell your FI you were doing the shoot, or was it a total surprise?

I have a BD session scheduled for Dec 20 and I am super excited/nervous about it. There's a marathon session happening in the DC area with Tait Photography.

 

I'm getting a 5x5 album, but there is an online gallery as well. I'm dieting and shopping for shoes and outfits as we speak!

i did my BD pics TODAY! it was the most fun i've had in quite some time! i HIGHLY recommend this! i'm getting a black, raw satin, hand-bound book. there are 20 pages in the book, but i'm not exactly sure of the size? i'm giving him the book wrapped with a big bow the night of our wedding! ((there are no words in the book - photos only)

 

i had a lot of outfits...astros theme (fave baseball team), schoolgirl, black, sexy outfit, jeans with personalized undies....there was no cohesive theme really. the hair and makeup was "glam" - loose spiral curls and smoky eyes

 

just have SO much fun - that's my advice!!

Angela, yes for my FI it's going to be a total surprise! I'm so horrible with secrets that I just hope I can hold out until the night of our wedding! Also, my photographer is downtown and we're out in the suburbs. I'm going to be doing several different shoots in different locations so we'll be meeting multiple times and for sometimes a few hours at a time. Hopefully I can *lie* well about where I'm going and hide my clothes, shoes, etc. !

Thank you for describing your book. 20 pages sounds perfect and the many different outfits sounds like fun! I'm so glad to hear from someone that it was so much fun! The personalized undies are great! Did you do it yourself or order them online?
