Congrats and welcome! The most stressfull part for us was getting our 10 people to book the group rate. After that we've just been coasting. You can make your wedding as stressfull or relaxed as you want. All depends on how much detail and extras you want over and above what the resort offers. We're not doing much of anything extra, so all I have to do is wait to fly out to Jamaica! Good luck with the planning!

Welcome! It gets easier...after I booked my hotel everything just fell into place. I am almost finished and I still have 8 months left. Good Luck!

Read some reviews from brides that have been married in Jamaica and get in touch with a TA, you'll feel less stressed after booking a date at a resort that someone else had a great experience with. Good luck!

Thanks for the responses. We have narrowed down the options to Riu MB or OR and are waiting for the quote from the TA. Hopefully, I will get that today. I don't think I will have any problems with getting the 10 people to to book at group rate, family will cover that.

 

My next decision is to be the free wedding or one of the packages.
