Jass There is no privacy even for shared rooms. One will have to ask the other to step out. I read this on here and trip advisor. I see many people complain about that factor even couples (weird). K

Does anyone know if the rooms with two beds have same layout as other rooms when it comes to the shower window? I'm concerned for shower privacy for two of my guests who are sharing a room.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I stayed at EPM before, and know what to expect, but thought they might have some privacy made for rooms with two beds. That's shower concept is very strange. LOL

I asked about this being that we had several guests "sharing" vs being a couple in a room. They DO have curtains for those rooms. Just be sure to tell Nayeli and your travel agent ahead of time that the double bed "shared" rooms should have curtains. This was not an issue at all and the showers were covered.

What you all do need to know about is the bathroom-toilet room. In ALL rooms there is no bottom or top to the toilet door and part of the actual door is glass. This is also RIGHT behind the open wall (where the bathroom mirrors are) to the bed. What this means? Not a whole lot of privacy!! The first time we went to EPM, my husband-then fiance- admitted to frequenting the gym bathroom..... I may be in the TMI area here but seriously, it can be an issue. :)

We had DJ Mannia and on the event (CECO) Terrace and you really don't need a dance floor. There is an area under the pergola that defines it perfectly. I even asked about rose petals to further "define" the space, but apparently it makes it very slippery so we opted out of that idea. They do have great lighting that is included.

OK....My husband said he heard the Dr say something about checking for HIV...I missed that part, but they do want to make sure you are not trying to marry your brother! You'll get your blood drawn at the hotel on Tuesday or Wednesday and you have to pay the Dr in USD ($200) at that point.

What is great is that is truly is a legal document! My Husband is retired from the Air Force. This week we finally made it to the base to "put me in the system" and get my Military ID card. There was no issue what so ever! We did not have to have it translated, register it at our county court/town hall, or anything else for that matter! When you get married in Mexico-legally, it is 100% recognized here!

  • Does anyone know why they do blood tests for legal ceremonies - i presume so they know that we are not 'of relation' :)

  • Also, has anyone shipped anything directly to the hotel? I have a lot of extras I bringing so wasn't sure if to take it in a suitcase or bubble wrap it to death and ship it.

Thank you all!

Oh that's very good to hear! I will make sure that's requested ahead of time. :)

Beach ceremony brides, what are you ladies thinking about shoes? Are you going barefoot? I was thinking about that, but I am very short, so I would need to hem my petite dress (which is already short-yep that short!). I think I could get away with a wedge heel on the beach, but not sure. I definitely want to be able to wear 3 inch heel for reception but not sure if I woudl be tripping over it on the beach. HELP!

Hi Jass7,

I am going barefoot on the beach and then I have about 3 1/2 inch heels for the reception.  One of my brisdesmaids doesnt really want to go barefoot so she is wearing a pair of Steve Madden T-Strap sandles with rhinestones on them.  They are super cute and I think they would look cute with a wedding dress as well.

Thanks for that tip. Yeah I think I'm gonna get some wedge heels about 3 inches, and hem the dress to that height, that way if I go barefoot I can still do it. The alteration guys told me I still needed a hem while wearing 4 inche heels. Do you know what Steve Madden T-Strap sandal your bridesmaids is going to wear? I saw these on Nordstrom.
