Excellence Playa Mujeres Brides Post Here!

Recommended Posts

Yeah, that sounds great IliaPSU.  I thought if they knew how upset brides were that they would step it up.  Yes, N is Nayeli.  At one point everyone loved her and nothing but great things to say about her but the resort has gone through many wedding coordinator changes you almost cant keep up.  I have never heard od Lleny but she sounds to doing a great job compared to N.

So are there definitely 2 different wedding coordinators working at EPM?  I have never received an email signed from 'N', but I have worked with a Nayeli briefly.  I thought for awhile that 'N' and Lleny might be the same person, but now I'm rethinking that.  Is anyone else working with Lleny?

MsBlissMpls, I will ask Lleny about the non-responsiveness and let her know that people are very upset.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help?  Have you still not even received a wedding planner?!

Attention Ladies

Nayeli "N" will be on the webinar for EPM on the 14th to answer all questions for EPM brides so i wonder what she will have to say.  All questions you have can be answered during then internet conference. I signed up weeks ago.  So this may help some of us.

Thanks K032379! I'm new to this forum, and don't know how to sign up for webinar. Any help I would appreciate it! By the way, it's kinda sad we have to get her attention by doing it together. She should get back to us, specially those getting married soon.

I'm going to start including all email addys with my correspondence to EPM to see if at least someone will respond. Does anyone have anything different for the WC email addys?

I have:

[email protected] (Nayeli)

[email protected] (Lleny)

Cole379, thank you for your suggestions! Super helpful. Especially with your experience as an event and wedding planner, if you have any other suggestions, please let us know! I chose a destination wedding since I thought I would not have to deal with all the event planning details....boy was I wrong :)

Amanda, these are the events they have going on at the moment:

The night shows that we have are:

Monday : One Thousand and one night or Caribbean Show

Tuesday: Casino and Magician Show

Wednesday : Manager Cocktail

Thursday: Michael Jackson Show

Friday: Mayan or Mexican Show

Saturday: Fire show and Romantic Dancing Show

Sunday: Las Vegas Show or 70â€s & 80â€s Show.

For the Caribbean and Mexican show includes buffet dinner that stars at 6.30 pm or 7:00 pm. All the shows start at 9:30 pm.

oh no :( I am so sorry you are frustrated!!

I totally feel your pain though, thats how I was right before I left! but I do promise you your wedding will be so amazing and gorgeous!! I watched the brides wedding that was crying the other night b/c of N and it was just stunning and perfect!!

Its really hard to mess it up here, which may be why N is so "whatever" about getting back to us... It does NOT excuse her behavior but rest assured your wedding will be amazing.  Going to Cancun for flowers is actually not a bad idea though. Just dont stress yourself out, try to enjoy the whole process, even the hiccups! I promised my husband that no matter how hectic or frustrating the planning (or lack thereof) got I would always take a deep breath and appreciate the process... We are all so lucky to have our wedding at such an amazing place, where most ppl will only dream of ever visiting... Just remember what the day is truly all about and know that everything will be perfect for you :)

Good luck and safe travels!!

BREATHE!!! :)

Not what we were hoping for, but it's better than paying for a package that we don't get to enjoy & counting on a coordinator that no longer exists. If I coud I'd book at a different resort with a history of happy (not stressed & crying) brides.

I was in the same situation. We got married in Costa Rica in March and by the time we got married we were on our 5th wedding coordinator. Everyone kept telling me "everything will work out." "everything will be fine" in some ways they were right but in a lot of ways they were wrong. Things went so differently then i had thought and hoped. There was no flow, no organization of events. I spent my night wondering if my guests were bored and trying to hunt down my wedding coordinator. I had to press play on my own iPod for my own first dance song. I wanted more than anything to cancel getting married there and just do it at home. but we couldn't. the  only thing i can tell you is try to find the moments with your partner that you won't be able to forget. focus on making your vows deep and personal and making sure you take the time to listen to his and take it all in. the chances are it won't work out the way you want it to and you will be disappointed with some things. But if you can get yourself invested on why you're getting married in the first place then IF things do fall into place it will be an added bonus. I'm so disappointed in what happened with mine i still dream about it. BUT i love my husband and in ten years from now we can do it again the way i want it, in a place where i live....

Oh man Sarakafka, Im sorry, I know that is frustrating :(

I came on here to tell the girls to make sure that they understand that the top cake tier will be thrown away after one day. We told them that we wanted it for our last night here and they said they would freeze it for us, then I called down for it tonight and they said they threw it away, no one told us :( So just an FYI...

Then I read your post Sara and I felt your pain. I was pretty upset about the no organization thing and the having to also push play for my own first dance and father/daughter dance... I was running around like a crazy person hoping that no one but me noticed that. They ran out of our meals and among other things.... I just had to stay positive and take in all the love around us and even with all the issues I still wouldnt have traded it for a wedding back home, it was still magical and romantic... I just had to deal with a lot of things I thought I wouldnt have to... But like you said, make the vows meaningful and notice all the things right with the day.
