I ended up calling (which for simple questions I want answers to I find a way better option then email!) and it is 16 per person per hour to extend the reception.

 

Has anyone with the gold package booked their spa appointments for their free love bird package? How do we go about doing that?

I'm starting to think they make up things as they go along. I have had 4 different answers for basic questions and then I come on here and you guys have been told something else! I'm getting extremely frustrated with the nickle and dimingas well. I flew down to Mexico last May and met with Yamina.. who was wonderful by the way.. I asked a million questions and started planning my wedding around what I was told. Well since then EVERYTHING has changed... apparently with the gold package, you don't get boutonniere's and bouquets.. you get one or the other??? Tghe vender fee went from $150- $500!? The Dj went from $1050 - $1400?! My flowers went from being $100 each to $430!? I mean come on.. this is getting ridiculous..

 

For instance, I was told its $12pp for an extra hour at the reception... now I hear $16 and $23? It would be nice that they have consistance answers for everyone. Its hard to plan things and have a visual of what you want if you are denied or told something else in every email response. I only have 5 weeks until our wedding and I feel like nothing is planned! I guess I am becoming stressed out over it now..

If you have any emails of the answers at the lower prices make sure to print them out and bring them with you. Typically they will honor what was previously said to you if you have the email confirming it.

Who told you that about the bouquets and boutineers? It says on the excellence website you get both and in the form you fill out it list both seperate as a choice? It does feel like you get Nicole's and dimed. My wedding is in three weeks and there are so many details not planned!!!

Hello ladies!

 

I wanted to update you that my wedding is NEXT weekend and I am leaving in 6 DAYS to go to EPM!! Also, with that said it has now been THREE WEEKS since I have heard ANYTHING from my WC. I am insanely frustrated and I just really really hope everything is just going to magically work out. I was told before to have all of my wedding details ready a month before the wedding and I sent mine out 3 weeks ago with tons of finalized questions and I have heard nothing back... Not even a peep

 

I guess I am going to call, I just dont like that there is no email response... Gustavo would barely let a whole day pass without getting back to me... Oh the good ol' days!

 

Well anyways, I am off to run more of the crazy amount of last minute errands we have to do before go time!!

Here's the latest info I received from N (her response in red).

 

 

1)      How long is the reception? If we go over the allotted time, what is the cost?

The reception lasts 3 hours, if you want an additional hour is $16 usd per person or $22 usd per 2 hours

 

2)      How many bouteniers and bouquets are included with the Gold package?

You have included your bouquet, the boutonniere for the groom and 4 additional boutonnieres or corsages.

 

3)      We have Welcome bags for our guests. How much would it be to have someone put the bags in the rooms before the guests arrive?

The room deliveries are in $4 usd per room but we deliver them when your guests are already in the room because sometimes we have room changes and we lost the bags.

that's so soon!!! How exciting!! But I totally understand how nerve racking that is not hearing anything back! N has been good with getting back to me (avg 3 days). Hopefully when you call you'll get all the answers you need! N told me that she usually doesn't get to her emails until late at night (she usually emails me back 11 pm EST). Giving her a call though sounds like a good idea!

I had my heart set on dark pink peonies and they do not have them in April in Mexico Could not be any more bummed about that.
