Does anyone know what time the nightly theater show starts and what the theme of each night is at the theater?

 

Also, does anyone know what time the music starts at Bar Alegria?

I emailed N about the shows and times for April....she said they didn't have the schedule yet. 

 

As for TA recommendation....Just a few glitches with dealing with the Excellence reservation line. Fingers crossed it's smooth sailing from now on

I am pretty sure the Michael Jackson show is on Thursday nights but not sure what time. Our wedding is on Thursday & I was going to try to get seats reserved in the theater for us all but was unsure of the start time too. If I find out I will let you know.

Question for you guys - does anyone know how many people they sit at the round tables? I sent N my selections with that question but when she responded she never answered me & wants to know how many centerpieces I need. Kind of hard if I have no idea how many will sit at a table!! UGH!

I have been to EPM and ERC in the last two years and they both had Michael Jackson show. I'm pretty sure Michael Jackson show at EPM is on Thursday which is also when my wedding day is, and if I remember correctly the MJ show starts at 10pm. And I think Alegra opens after 11pm.

 

I'm also thinking about going to see Michael Jackson show with my guests, and then go to Alegra for some dancing.

 

Not sure if it's worth having a DJ if our guest list is under 10-15.

 

What's everyone thinking?

 

Also I checked about bringing a photographer as a guest, and cordinator told me that the guest would have to stay two nights minimum at the hotel. But the thing is most of my guests will take pictures of our wedding, why does it matter how many nights they stay?

Does anyone have an idea of what the show is for Tuesday night? Tuesday is our night, and even if it not the same this April it would be nice to have an idea of the theme and the time it starts.

I can check when I get home for you by looking at our pictures. We stayed at EPM from Saturday through following Sunday in 2010. But to be sure I would email the resort and check with them for schedule, because when we went to ERC in 2011, only MJ show was still on schedule, the rest of the shows were different. I wonder if they change them every year?

Oh boyyy now I'm nervous about my decision to not have a TA.  Does anyone know how far in advance the hotel books up??

It depends. We thought we would be fine since we stayed at the hotel in April 2 years ago and the hotel was at 80% capacity when we arrived. We were able to book our rooms a couple weeks before we arrived. However this year, the Jr. Suites were sold out for mid April already in November.

Hi Sharon,

 

They seat 8 people per round table. I did finally hear back from Nayeli and she said that one long rectangle table is also avaliable (for the others that were asking about it). I am getting pretty nervous about Nayeli insanely slow response time, I even emailed her about my concerns. She said to try to call her, but I like to have things in writing because with the WC switches and everyone getting different answers I just can not rely on having her tell me yes on the phone and then tell me no when I get there and I have no documentation to prove it.

 

So I took every question I had over the course of the last year of planning and made a word document with my questions, Gustavo's answers in red and her answers in purple and I asked to to verify everything... It was pretty lengthy but that way every question is in one place and there is no room for miscommunication. Not sure if this would interest any of you girls, but I think it will help put my mind at ease (once I finally hear back from her).

 

My final dress fitting is Wednesday, I will get a picture!!

 

ONLY 1 MONTH!!!! I am so nervous/excited!!

I'm also getting very inpatient with Nayeli slow email response. I emailed her on Monday and it's now Thursday. I asked a simple question about outside photography free, so I know before I book a photographer. But no response. Sigh.

 

I am nervous about booking my wedding until I hear from her. Is she usually this slow? Or are there a lot of weddings going on at EPM right now?
