We are working through a travel agent.  We have not blocked any rooms. Our guests are just booking as they decide to commit to the trip & out TA is taking care of everything.

So Confused????????

 

 

Very interested in booking a small 2012 wedding at this resort.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a travel agent. Looking for a TA who has a GREAT relationship with the resort, can get better rates than online, etc.   Heads up, I am VERY picky....Lol.  I am not sure if it matters if a TA is near or far but I am located right outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Hi Stefkva, if you have a larger wedding party you may want to consider a room block as they offer some great amenities to wedding parties (upgrades, room etc.)

We actually have a great relationship with excellence and have booked many weddings with them.  Since my agency owns this website, most of the larger resorts check in to see how things are going.

A Newbie......Lol

 

Happy, excited, scared all at the same time.  Great info on photography.  I have just been looking at different resort  reviews for months and LOVED Del Sol's work.  I want to cry that he is no longer available.......but I guess no need to cry over spilled milk.  Adrian's work is nice also.  I have finally decided on EPM.  Getting with my TA to find out about my dates.  Wish me luck brides.

 

And Congrats to all of the 2012 brides!!!!

 

Does anyone know of a great makeup (that uses MAC) & hair stylist (that is great on ALL hair types) in the are?  I am EXTREMELY PICKY when it comes to those two.

Congrats & welcome! I plan on using the resorts hair & makeup service at the spa since its free with the package. Of course I am going to do a trial the day before. You can always bring your own makeup for them to use if they dont use MAC.

Let us know what date you decide on!

Just like Sharon99, I am having my makeup and hair done at the resort because it comes with the package. You can contact the spa direclty and ask them if they use MAC products. I've emailed them a few times already and they have been quick to respond.

Does anyone know which meal items are the best? Also, the Cocktail hour food items? I've read a few places that certain foods were dry or really really good, but I can't remember where I read those things. We are deciding between the two packages and would love some input from anyone who has already had their wedding at this resort.

 

Also, does anyone hae photos of the reception dinner at the Spice Terrace?

We're getting married at Excellence Playa Mujeres in May and were there to visit this past Sept. We were able to do a sampling of our dinner choice and some of the apps. What's great is that we were able to change/add what we needed to and also come up with a great seafood option. Who are you working with as your wedding planner? He/she should be able to guide you in the right direction. The food there was fantastic so I can't imagine anything being awful.

I have no idea what specific items are good. However, my dad and stepmom visited this resort a few years ago and said all of the food was fantastic. I'm sure whatever you choose will be delicious.
