Hello Ladies,

I am getting married on the beach...I have the chairs & rose petals thing going. However, I would LOVE to have starfish on the two front chairs of the aisle and 2 back chairs of the aisle.

How can I do this so that the starfish will actually stay on the ribbon and hang on the chair? Also, is there a way to make it even fancier than that?

I really want to do this myself...I am not as good as you girls...but I want to do small touches!

Please help!

I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I'm showing you what I did for mine. I simply used a glue gun to glue a pin to the back of the starfish. For the large ones that I had a bit of a void in the middle of the back, I put a piece of felt between the starfish and the pins

The picture below is actually of my boutonniers, but it shows the types of pins that I used for the chair starfish

You could line the aisle with palm fronds and starfish if you want. The resort didn't' get my complete vision, but it was close.

They only put the palms at the end of the aisle. Oops!

I think as long as you use the larger starfish you'll be fine.

Another idea I like are streamer sticks:

I did these for my AHR but couldn't find pictures.

My florist used different shades of blue ribbon and but them on 28" bamboo sticks. You could easily do this and add starfish!

Yes! Hanging them off the side of the chair is exactly what I had in mind! I am just also struggling with how to get those heavy starfish to stay with all the weight hanging!

I am going to try the felt idea and see if that works! I am just concerned about them all falling off!
