Hello - I too am planning a wedding at the Four Seasons in Costa Rica.

You sound very enthusiastic about your wedding and that makes me feel better.

I am looking to get married end of August 2014 and am concerned about the rain season.

I am hearing mixed reviews about the Green Season versus the Gold Season.

Gold Season is their high season it is warm and dry all the time. They told me the Green season is still warm but it rains 5-10 minutes daily. I am just concerned I will fly all our guests to have our wedding there and we won't be able to catch some sun and enjoy it.

Also, as you know, the New York office makes you leave a very hefty deposit.

I am a little nervous about this, especially since they dont even let you speak with Costa Rica until you make the deposit.

If you have any insite, suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
