Bridesmaid dress color with ivory wedding dress?

I bought my gown and it is Ivory and gold (not tacky gold, just ivory with a darker ivory detail... very vintage looking and lace detailed.) I have no idea what color dress to get for my MOH... what would look good with a vintage looking ivory dress?? any ideas FI will be wearing a tan suit... thanks ladies!

I usually like lighter and pastel colors with ivory, and more vibrant colors with white, but that's just my opinion. I think you can really do anything with ivory.

My dress is ivory, vintage lace, and my MOH is wearing sand/beige with a sage colored sash and the BM will be wearing a sage shirt with beige khakis ...

 

So I'd say stick to pastels as well ... light, soft and flow-y works best with ivory IMO!

I'm going with a dark chocolate brown. Against my ivory (with antique gold detailing and beading)...it looks gorgeous.

 

 

 

All our guys also, are wear tan (close to my dress color actually) with brown ties. FI will have a chartreuse green and chocolate paisleyish tie.

I agree with everyone else... lighter colors with ivory. Pastels or another neutral-esque color; like browns etc.

Personally, I like a bit of color and think that a pretty green like Jacqueline posted above or a saturated light blue would be beautiful.

I'm going to agree with what the ladies stated on here...Ivory does go with any color. I think pastels will work better with Beach/Sea side wedding, like teal or blue. That would be my choice. But you can't really go wrong with any colors to go with Ivory.

Thanks ladies, I really appreciate the opinions... I agree.. I am thinking pink, or green.... or... maybe a sundress for MOH and white button up for BM.... We are only having the two of them, which makes it a little easier...
