Back Home reception

I was just wondering what people were planning for a back home recpetion. We are getting married in Februaury '09 and were thinking to do something in the begining of summer. Do you think to much time will have passed?How soon do any of you brides plan on doing your back home reception?

Also, does anybody plan on wearing there wedding dress again back home?

Hi,

We were married @ Dreams Cabo on August 2nd. We had 30 people with us, but had many friends and family who were sad they couldn't be there.

Hence we had 2 AHR to follow. Both were very differnet. The first one was in late September and it was like a formal reception. I am from PA and it was my family and friends. We wore our wedding clothes again.

The second was in mid November at it was a an open house at our MD. We rented a tent and had a "celebration."

Both were fun... we had to wait because we really wanted photos. No one seemed to care it was later.
