Kerry, I bought some hot fix rhinestones for wedding usage and here's the website that I used: 2028 Swarovski Hot Fix Rhinestones | Dreamtime Creations

it'll bring you to the page for 5mm rhinestones just to give you an idea of the cost. I think the first one is like $7 for 1/2 gross (72 pieces).

Are you sure you mean the Hot Fix and not the flatback rhinestones? The hot fix are the ones that you need the gun for, they kind of "stick" to the gun and then you glue them on. The flatbacks are ones that you need glue, a rhinestone stick that is kind of gummy to pick up the rhinestones, an iron, and transfer paper. Maybe you were looking at the wrong "type" of rhinestone?

I am not sure. In the first post of the thread it says Hotfix Flatback so I have not idea. Per this thread she was making them with an iron and mylar paper so I am assuming Hotfix is the brand and flatback is the style?

Kerry, Hotfix is a style and so is flat back. They're both "rhintestones". Technically they both have flat backs but the Hot Fix stones have a glue that melts on the back of them which is why you only need a "gun" to adhere them.

The flat backs just have a regular silver backing to them. Because she made her stuff using mylar paper and and an iron they are the regular "flat backs" and NOT the Hot Fix.

Hope that helps!

girls they are hotfix rhinestones meaning they have glue on them already and the hot iron will melt them. I have made tank tops, t-shirts, panties, and a hoodie all using these, it works just follow the directions.

I have had several pm's asking about the mylar paper and the rhinestones I got the mylar paper on ebay
