LBurton5:  Thanks! Good catch   I will have to show it to his mom and see if she can afford that one because it is still a lot higher than the regular rooms but it is definitely better! And if nothing else at least the other guests should be able to stay in the preferred club ones.

 

I finally found what I had saw about dining at other Secrets resorts if you stay at any of their resorts.  I knew I wasn't crazy, lol.  Here is the link: http://www.secretsresorts.com/dine-around.html

So, I guess that if people have to stay at another Secrets because only the expensive rooms are available, at least they can come have dinner with us some nights!

There was a link to a wedding website (Alana & Tito's, I believe) in the resort reviews that had a video done by the resort videographer.  I just tried to look at it and the site has been taken down.  I did watch the video recently though and it was nice.   The one you posted from YouTube gives you a good idea of the ceremony and the setup but it looks like one a guest took.  The one I watched before is much more of a professional quality video.  We are using the video included in the package and after watching Alana & Tito's video, I was happy.  It looks like they do a very nice job.

Did anyone else tear up watching this beside me? I'm so excited.  Looks like that the wedding arch.  Is anyone using this one, or the smaller one to the left of it?  Also do you know if this is the standard symbolic script?

Yes!  Everytime I see one of these videos I get teary-eyed.  It makes me worry I won't be able to hold it together when it's actually my ceremony.  I've seen a couple videos or snippets of ceremonies in the area and they all seem to be pretty similar.  I'm not sure if it's a standard script but my guess is it's similar to a wedding in the U.S. - each officiant might add their own little touches, but they're all basically the same.

The video was on a wedding website which has been taken down.  I just watched it a few weeks ago.  I looked yesterday so I could post the link here and I saw the site is down.  The ceremony was very similar to the You Tube video you posted.  It's just not as shaky and edited nicely.

I 'm going to have the sand ceremony but I don't know if I have to take vases and colored sand or if they will provide them for us. Do you know?

  Do you know if the sand and hand ceremony are before or after the ring ceremony?   And last question: do you have the text of the ceremony and vows?   Thank you for your help
