Sanibel..all about it!

I finally looked into Sanibel Island and I love it more than anywhere else that Ive found. I just wanted to see if any of you can give me your insights on it or if anyone had some pictures. Also, I found that there are several cottages to stay in the "Old Sanibel" area...anyone have any experience with these? The idea of a cottage sounds neat to me! Finally, I know there is a huge preseve in Sanibel...can this be quickly accessed anywhere on the island? Thanks!

We love that area...actually Captiva was really our favorite.

We are getting married in July on Fort Myers. We would have chose Captiva but we thought the Times Square area in FMB would offer guests lots of things to do...ok...for our group...places to eat and drink that they can walk to. Captiva was a little to quiet for our group ~ especially in July (offseason)
