Brochure Info help!!!

What info should go in the brochure a lot of people are mailing out prior to the wedding? I want to send them out, but I want to make sure I have all of the necessary information. If you have one you can post on here, it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I used/borrowed Raychel's (aka Nolaroy724) brochure. It uses power point so it's easy to navigate. Check out her forum and you can get the template:

The Travel Brochure should include items like:

 

1. Intro/welcome/thanks for coming

2. Travel Plans and Welcome Meeting

3. Important what to brings

4. Things to look forward to

5. Tentative wedding day itinerary

6. important reception info

 

If you check out the Wedding Journal Forum you'll find lots of ideas to put in your brochure.

I would put info like Average weather temps, they accept us dollars, travel tips, maybe a packing list, etc. i did a whole package. i'll see if i can post it on here when i get home.

For my pre-travel brochures I put an intro./thank you page, what to expect when they arrive in Mexico page, what to do before you go ie: credit cards, cell phones, they shouldn't need to convert dollars to pesos page, a page about the local info. like weather, time, etc, a page about travel info. like passports, luggage info. and a page with items not to forget.

I also think it depends if you plan on also doing a brochure or newsletter when you arrive in Mexico as well. Because if you only plan on doing one, you may want to include info. for wedding day timeline, any group activities, etc.

I put most of that information on my website, but I'm wondering if I need a brochure too. For those of you who have put the info on the website, did you find that most people did not pay attention to it unless they received it in the form of a brochure?
