No House For Us :(

Well ladies it looks like we are NOT getting that house. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t31015

 

It turns out that that cute little brook puts us in a flood zone and the flood insurance is like 2k a year! And, its a major liability because if someone gets hurt in it (say the neighbors kid falls in it while we're at work) we are liable and can be sued. So, its pretty, but not worth all that.

 

Back to the drawing board...

Thanks guys. I'm not as bummed as I thought I would be. I tried really hard not to get too excited about it because I knew there were a lot of things that could make it fall apart. I'm kind of liking looking at houses, so I don't mind looking some more. I'm a little disappointed, but you're right, the right house will come along and everything will fall into place.
