Multiple weddings in one day...

I was looking at one of the Couples locations, and the day we wanted for our ceremony already has one other wedding scheduled. Based on Couples' "wedding calendar" it looks like they can schedule up to 7 weddings in a day! Should I be cautious about scheduling ours the same day as someone else?

 

I'd really love your thoughts!!

I think this is pretty common with most resorts, and I don't think its something to worry about. The wc's onsite as well as the rest of the staff are used to dealing with more than one wedding in one day. I'm sure it will be fine

Hi Kari! I'm getting married at CSA on December 5th. While they can schedule several weddings in the same day it shouldn't be an issue. I have talked to several CSA brides on here and the Couple's board and they said the resort is so big you don't even notice and they never rush you. Also there are sevral locations for the ceremony to chose from. I booked my time and location a year in advance so as long as you book early you are guaranteed your spot. Are you having a lot of guests? I am having 47 including us. Depending on what type of reception you want be careful what day of the week you chose. No private dinners on Fridays or Mondays. I'll post my full review when i get back.

I think it is pretty common to have multiple weddings in one day at resorts....I think there were 2 or 3 the day we got married. I was worried about it at first, but I honestly didn't even see the other weddings that were going on. I was too consumed by MY day!

This is definitely common...and one of the downfalls to big resorts!

I don't think it will be a big deal...I think the ceremony is only like 15 minutes or so, and weddings are scheduled on the hour...so even if there was another wedding before or after yours, it will be far enough away that it won't affect you...now you might see the other bride and party around the resort, but that's just something you have to deal with

 

I chose to get married on a Thursday, hoping that other brides would go for a weekend...I keep checking to see if anyone else has booked our day and so far we are good...but I feel like July is still far enough away...

 

Try not to worry about it...it will still be YOUR day and you will have a blast!

definitely very common! I saw 6 weddings at Sandals Mo Bay a couple weeks ago. You will barely know there are other weddings going on though!

CSA was completely booked the day of our wedding. I think there were 8? I never saw any other brides! It's really not an issue. We had plenty of time, even starting 15+ minutes late because of rain.

 

We got the time slot we wanted and had the garden available for a private cocktail reception.
