I think my dog has diabetes *updated*

Hey, even if your dog is diabetic, he will be ok! They adapt really well to insulin shots if that is what is needed, and it isn't too expensive. They are really easy to give to pets. I would just make sure to keep him hydrated for tonight and the vet will help you in the morning.

Good luck, I am sure he will be ok!

I'm so sorry to hear about your puppy cry.gif I was hoping it was something much simpler to fix. I'm sure thought that just like some of the girls have said...he will adapt. And as soon as he starts feeling better he will be ok. It might take a few days to get used to this new thing sad.gif

So, we have been giving Buddy insulin twice a day now since Thursday. He seems to be finally feeling better! He is almost his old self again.

I though it would be so much worse than it is. The biggest thing is the schedule change that we have to make ourselves stick with. He has to eat and get his med the same time twice a day. He is being such a good boy when he gets his shots though.
