Here I go on my Soap box. I work for LV and we have a very strong Anti-Counterfieting team in my company, which most design companies don't. The reason we do is because all of those fake knock-offs that are bought on the street are brought in from China. China where they have huge factories filled with young girls from the ages of 6-14 years of age. It is not secret what role women play in the Chinese community. It is the saddest thing you will ever see. These girls are piled in rooms to make bags by hand, many of which lose their fingers and hands after time. Once they can't make bags they are turned to the street for prostitution. I have seen the results of this first hand.

 

So please DO NOT BUY THINGS ON THE STREETS. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE REAL THING, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE FAKE ONES BECAUSE SOME CHILD MADE IT WITH HER BARE HANDS AND GOT PAID 10 CENTS TO DO SO BUT LOST HER CHILDHOOD AND SO MUCH MORE.... THINK BEFORE YOU BUY. WHY WOULD THEY DO KNOCK-OFF'S AND IMPORT THEM ILLEGALLY INTO THE STATES.... HUMMM.......

Making everyone in the world fall in love

Because I love, love and know it would be a better world if everyone was in love.

Take care of my entire family and all my friends, so they wouldn't have finance stress. Continue working because I love it, but also ensure I could take many many vacations. I would also volunteer a lot more.

My list would be too long. I use to work in PR for Sony and lived in Orlando during the Boy Band Craze, Now I live in NYC. I do a lot of events here so I meet people weekly.

I would have to say my two favorites though are Abigal (Little Ms Sunshine) she use to be a client of mine and she is so grounded. Her mom is awesome too.

Last night I rode the subway beside her brother in that movie, he was also in There Will Be Blood.

I would want to be 5'7" for a day. I am only 5'1" I would like to see the world from up there.

32. Why did you choose a destination wedding?

HOnestly. I don't think church weddings and hall receptions are personal enough. I wanted a location that made my friends think of me and my FI all the way around. I also wanted it to be something I would never forget. I also love to vacation, so why wouldn't I turn my wedding into a vacation with all my loved ones.

 

Also my FI and I are paying for it ourselves and we wanted to go all out and weren't able to do that on our budget anywhere but Puerto Vallarta.

 

 

33. How long were FI and you together when you got engaged?

1 year 1 1/2 months. He started having my ring made after we had been together for 1 year. I wouldn't have thought this to be for me. I thought I would have wanted to know someone for a long time, but our relationship is so easy. He stared asking me after 5 months if I would marry him and I knew I didn't want to let him go.

 

34. What person in your life really gets under your skin, and how do you know them?

Mean people who are arrogant. I encounter a lot of them in my industry and I wish they would jsut get over themselves. The world is too big yet too small to be so self involved.

 

35. When and how did you and your FI meet?

I picked him up while I was at work at Lucky Brand Jeans. He came into buy jeans and walked out with a fiance. Well kind of.... You get what I mean. I loved his teeth and lips. I wanted to kiss him, but not appropriate at work when I just met him. So I ensured I would get to see him again. Still loving the teeth and lips today.

 

My question: Do you have any pets?

My answer: We have fish because we don't have time for anything else...we will be getting a puppy next summer as a wedding gift to ourselves though...can't wait!

 

No I don't think NY is dog friendly. That is the pet I would want. I feel sad to see dogs locked up in apartments all day with no where to run and play.

 

My Question: What is the nicest thing you have done for someone most recently?

 

Yesterday I was going up the subway stairs and there was a lady carrying a suit case up that was very heavy. I asked her if she needed help, and as we all know NY'rs don't need help with anything, She said "NO". She continued to have a hard time and people were bumping into her because it was rush hour. So I got behind her a lifted the bottom to take off some of the weight. She was surprised and looked at me shocked. She got up the stairs with ease and when we got to the top she didn't look back she just walked away. Oh well I know I made it a little better for her and that is all that counts.

I'm the director of Marketing for Coldwell Banker; I would love to be a stay at home mom, running my own business on the side. I love marketing/advertising and spinning words into great PR pieces. I would also love to open my own special occasion dress store in our town. We don't have a really nice/chic one here, and I think it would be so amazing open one up.

Christmas Eve....not Xmas morning. My whole fam gets together for a competitive gift exchange game. It's fun!

I currently intern with an organization that runs therapy groups for inpatient/outpatient psychiatric units, refugee kids, men in transition from incarceration/rehab, and moms and kids in a domestic abuse shelter. Marie, it is my great-grandmother's name and pretty much every female has it in my family.

Got arrested when I was 17 for tresspassing. We were drinking in the woods, but I had just gotten there so I wasn't drinking yet so the cops couldn't bust me on that. It didn't go on my record, but I had to do community service for 3 weeks.

He leaves his crap all over the place!

I didn't want a big church wedding. I was raised Catholic, did the CCD thing, but was never much of a believer. I also hate being the center of attention and didn't want a bunch of people I barely talk to or even remember at my wedding. I wanted it small and away from home. Plus, it was cheaper than having something at home and we paid for it on our own.

I wanted something small, I love travelling and warm places. And ultimately we wanted to get married soon and FI’s brother was getting married in late October, so Dec/Jan was the best time. And there was no way in hell I was going to get married in winter in Canada!!! FI suggested it and it fit perfectly for us.
