News anchor passes away from breast cancer

Heather Pick, co-anchor of channel 10 WBNS news in Columbus, Ohio died today after a long battle with breast cancer. I am so sad to hear this news and can't stop crying. She has been battling cancer since 2004. I thought she was getting better although I have not seen her on the morning news for a while. I just thought she was having some issues with Chemo. She has two small children ages 7 and 4. This was such a shock to me and I don't know why it is affecting me so much.

 

They are doing a tribute to her on the evening news. She was 38 years old. This just breaks my heart for her family, especially her children. She was such a special and unique person. I will miss her.
