A quick question...I'm thinking of doing these now and I contacted that store in Mexico city and they're willing to make me up an order...but...my oot bags are pretty full and the cost of everything is beginning to pile up. I hadn't decided on wedding favors yet...would in be appropriate to have the flip flops as favors or is that tacky??

As I said before, I emailed that company and they were more than willing to ship to North America and said they even had a 1-800 number getting set up very soon. He told me that the women's sizes are $3.50 and the men's sizes are $4.50

I don't know if that helps anyone but I thought I'd let y'all know.

Where did they get the cute bags they were packaged in??

YEAH! This is great! I have emailed theem and asked my WC to email them in Spanish to see if we get the same rates :) Thanks Maura. Also love the red/blue Kate! How much are the flip flops at Old Navy? Does anyone know how many colors and how much? I was just going to do the ladies, do you think we need the guys also?

and here's the company they ordered them from in Mexico (sorry, their webpage is in spanish obviously, but they do have a really cute online catalog with ideas for other designs!):

I did this and my guests loved them. The basket of flip flops were cleaned out before Patrick and I even got to the reception from taking pictures. And we saw our guests wearing them around the resort the day after the reception as well. We mostly supplied them for the women, with only a few for the men. If I had known they'd be so popular I would've bought more for everyone. I don't think though that my guests really wore these during the reception. It seemed like the grabbed them just to take home as favors.
