If you are getting married in Jamaica…. Our official marriage license came about two months after the wedding. Listed on our official marriage license they give the “Condition of the Groom” and the “Condition of the Bride” as they come to be married. Next to “Condition of the Groom” they listed “Bachelor,” next to “Condition of the Bride” they listed “Spinster.”

 

SPINSTER!!!!!!...... on the Marriage License! My husband likes to tell everyone that he saved me from a life of being a spinster. I just laugh.
