What is your wedding diet?

I'm on Weight Watchers. It's helping controlling your diet and workout through "points". Basically, you have some basic points depending on your basics, you have an additional 35 to spend through the week ; each thing you eat or drink makes you consume points and workout gives you additional points.

It's working great for me. I'm doing it online (no time or heart for meetings) and I lost 18 pounds in 2 months. I have 22 more to go... I hope it will be not more than 4 months so that I'm ready for alterations when my dress comes in.

Hey Ladies..Just so you know where I am coming from and my decision to do the diet I am doing. I previously lost 50 pounds in a year through hard work in the gym and exercise. It is important to eat several small meals throughout the day, espeically protein for muscle fuel. AFter I had my baby, all of my old tricks did not work and it did not help that I had this thyroid issue.

In any event, I am doing Accuweight which is a combination of accupressure, extreme dieting and breathing techniques. Weight loss varies but you WILL lose an average of 15 pounds your first month if you do not cheat. I lost 12 pounds my first week, but fell off the wagon the last three due to personal issues. In any event, my first month I lost 18.5 pounds and counting. I expect to lose another 20 this month (I am neurotic about being very thin) so a total of 50 pounds by mid december will satisfy my high expectations if I stick to it and keep on maintenance afterwards.

I exercise three times per week (cardio) and drink (supposed to) lots of water.

Here's what I've been doing for the last 8 months coupled with going to the gym six days a week and training with a PT for 3 of those 6 days:

Bfast:

- 2 eggs, 2 egg whites

- 750 ml of water

- Omega 369 pill

- Multi-vitamin

Snack:

- 12 whole, unsalted almonds

- 1/2 cup of plain, low fat (but not non-fat!!) yogurt with a scoop of vanilla protein powder

Lunch:

- 1/2 cooked chicken breast

- 1/2 cup of whole wheat pasta

Snack:

- 1/2 of an apple (any kind works)

- 1/2 cup of 1% milk with a scoop of vanilla protein powder

Post work-out snack:

- Banana protein shake (1 banana, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder mixed with ice in a blender)

Supper:

Either of the following:

- small round-eye steak, cooked any style

- 2 whole eggs and a table spoon of regular peanut butter

Doing this in addition with working out regularly has helped me lose 21 lbs so far, I'm hoping to lose another 10 - 20 lbs before my wedding. Also I usually drink 4 - 5 litres of water per day.

I'm a big fan of weight watchers. I lost about 14 pounds of the "freshman 15" on this plan. I currently run about 4 miles five to six days a week and take two yoga or pilates classes per week. Starting in Jan, I am going to work on my diet to lose about 7 pounds for my May wedding.

Hi everyone,

I am watching my carb intake. This usually works best for me. I have alot of weight that I want to lose. I am hoping to achieve this by april then I am going to really concentrate on firming up the areas that need it. I am planning on going back to the gym next week aprox. 3x a week to start

I'm trying to steer clear of cheese and bacon... 2 of my all time favorite foods. Whenever I would get a sandwich or salad, these 2 ingredients were always staples. So I've been trying to completely delete these out of my diet. It's been hard, and I slip up on my weak times, but I'm trying!
